October Empties

I have a rather large pile of empties this month, because my partner and I moved in together (YAY) which meant that all of the doubles of things that had been hanging about at each others houses got used up. I am pretty pleased with the amount of stuff that got used up this month, actually.

1. Batiste Dry Shampoo in Blush, Tropical, Boho and Original. I love Batiste dry shampoo. This was a case of having one at each house, and then having two travel size ones from my Sydney holiday. I am waiting for work to get the blush one back in before I buy anymore, but I am getting desperate. Maybe Priceline has a sale?

2. David Babaii Hydrating Shampoo. This has been my favourite shampoo and conditioner for the better part of a year. The conditioner didn't get used up at the same rate as the shampoo this time, so it is still kicking around in my shower. I am using it as a hair mask each time after I wash my hair, as the shampoo and conditioner I am using at the moment is not that moisturizing. Repurchase? I already have a spare in the cupboard.

3. MOR Basil and Grape Hand and Body Lotion. This was at my boyfriends house, and I still haven't used it up completely after about ten months. So I got bored and decided it had to go (there is only about a quarter left). It smells delightful (I reviewed the candle here), soaks in reasonably easily, doesn't leave your skin feeling oily. Would I repurchase? Possibly, I am undecided. I like to chop and change quite often, and the fact it takes so long to use up is annoying to me, but probably lovely for everyone else!

4. Sukin Facial Moisturiser. I have been using this on my legs because it is not quite moisturising enough on my extremely thirsty face. I really like it. Again, it soaks in really easily and doesn't leave your legs feeling oily, which is something that I absolutely HATE. Repurchase: yes. I already have another spare in the cupboard.

5. Nivea Calm and Care Anti-perspirant. I like the smell of this Nivea deodorant, but I do not think that it would provide me enough protection during summer. I have found that with all Nivea deodorants they need to be reapplied reasonably often to prevent you getting stinky, which annoys me. This one is no exception. Repurchase: no.

6. Dove Foaming Make Up Remover. I really really like this. It removes all makeup like no other, in the shower, using water. I think that is what I like most, I can use it as a cleanser and it gets rid of makeup. I hate putting things on my face until my face is wet, for example cleansing oils give me shivers. Repurchase? Yes. I already have another one sitting pretty in the shower.

7. Natio Daily Protection SPF 15 Face Moisturiser. I liked this. It soaked in easily, didn't leave my face feeling oily, contains SPF which is really important to me. However, the SPF is only 15, therefore I probably wouldn't repurchase this. I need SPF 30+, I am super white and I plan to stay that way over summer. This was the one at my partners house, Olay was at my house.

8. Pearl Drops Extra Whitening and Stain Removing Toothpastes. This was another case of had one at each house. These are seriously the best toothpaste for teeth whitening, they are even better than the ones that Pearl Drops make which are supposed to be super heavy duty whitening. I have repurchased over and over, and I will continue to do so. Love, love, love.

9. Olay Complete SPF 30+ Facial Moisturiser. I love this. I have been its friend for many years. My only gripe with this product is its stupid packaging, it is almost impossible to get the last little bit out. Plus, you can't stand it on its end properly, because the pump is angled to make it look pretty, but a little impractical. Still, I will repurchase over and over because the formula is so damn great for an SPF 30+ which is ALSO broad spectrum (contains UVA and UVB protection). Plus, a bottle of this lasts ages. Which is good, because although I like to switch my body lotion up all the time, my face only likes certain products, which means the longer that they last, the better.

10. Palmolive Naturals Shower Gel in Revitalising. I really really like the smell of this. So fruity and light. It isn't super sweet, but it leaves your skin feeling nicely perfumed. Would I repurchase? Yes.

11. Clinique Even Better Clinical Dark Spot Corrector. I love this. I think I have gone through about three bottles since it first came out, because I have such terrible skin that it gets rid of my pigmentation, all is hunky dory, and then I get another but of pimples and it needs fixing again. Skin = so lame. Clinique = life saver. Would I repurchase? Yes. I have another bottle happening at the moment (again I had one at my boyfriends, and one at home). I am holding out to try the Skin Juice pigmentation serum though, so I might give that a go after Clinique

12. Bobbi Brown Cleansing Oil Sample. For a cleansing oil, I liked this. Mostly because it still worked after I had wet my face. Plus, it washes off to leave no residue. Simply rub on, hit with some water, and it turns a milky consistency and runs off. Would I repurchase? Maybe. I would prefer to keep using my Dove foaming makeup remover however.

13. Kerastase Elixer K Ultime Sample. This is another hair oil, similar to Moroccan Oil or Argan Oil (it contains Argan Oil) and it is lovely. It makes your hair feel soft and manageable without weighing my fine hair down. Plus, it helps to speed up blow drying. Would I repurchase? Maybe, but I currently have an almost full bottle of Morrocan Oil to get through.

14. Australis Ready Set Go Translucent Powder. I can't believe that I haven't written a post about this yet, I have been using it everyday since September last year. It is a true translucent, which means you get no ashy effects, plus it helps to mattify your skin and keep make up in place. I have another hiding in my cupboard ready, however I am currently trialing the SLA powder. I will come back to my Australis one, I know I will.

15. Skin Juice Citrus Face Cream. I love this product. It is a lovely organic face cream which provides amazing moisture to my skin without leaving it oily. It was a god send when I got a peel over Easter and my skin started to flake, this helped to keep everything healthy and ok. Would I repurchase? Yes. Especially now that Skin Juice have changed the packaging to a tube, which is much more hygienic than sticking fingers into pots.

16. Aveda Replenishing Body Moisturiser. There is a reason that Aveda is king, and that is because their products are absolutely amazing. This body moisturiser helped to heal my dry scaly winter legs, all ready for summer. Again, soaks in easily, no oily after affects. Would I repurchase? Yes.

Rimmel Glam Eyes Mono Eyeshadow in Punchy Taupe

I purchased this with Yolly from Shopping Intervention after a chance meeting at the Benefit Brow Bar in Brisbane on Tuesday. Basically Yolly and I were on the hunt for something for me to buy in Priceline, so I didn't leave empty handed. I was on the hunt for a non-sparkly/shimmery eyeshadow that was just a couple of shades darker than my skin tone, to give me that sleep eyed look so favoured in the 1920's. It took ages (and I felt like a picky crazy person) but in the end I eventually found this eyeshadow.

I have worn it every day since (read: 3 days) and I like it. It isn't quite what I wanted, but it is reasonably close. This eyeshadow is long lasting (til 6 when I wash it off), it is super soft and blends really easily. The colour is somewhat similar to what I was after. I say somewhat, as it contains some shimmer. Not ideal when looking for something completely matte, however I kinda like it. It's more of a barely there shimmer which gives the colour some punch, instead of a glittery disco ball of disaster.

I didn't even notice until I took this picture, but I have green eyes. This is for green eyes! Hurrah.

Just a couple of shades darker than my skin. Swatched on my inner arm. No primer.

My Christmas Wish List

Now there is less than two months til Christmas, I thought I would put together a little wish list so that Santa may have the chance to see it. Hear that Santa? Did Ya?

1. Canon Digital SLR Camera EOS 600D: My partner and I both enjoy photography. While I like to take photos for the blog, the boy likes to take amazing photos of the surf. We both NEED this camera.

2. Clarisonic PRO: Sarah from Hip & Haute and Lexi from Dreaming of Verona sat me down at the ABBW and explained the merits of the Clarisonic, and now I am desperate for one. Dear Mr Santa, please?

3. Illamasqua Lipstick in Resist: I could get my Tilly De Vine on with this one, you know?

4. I always need a cook book for christmas. I am slowly building my Nigella Collection, but I haven't got this one yet... Nigella Lawson - How to be a Domestic Goddess

Illamasqua = Slowly helping Tegans come out of their shell since June

I am not going to lie. Before June, when  I was invited to the launch of the Illamasqua Toxic Nature Collection I didn't own a single Illamasqua item. Now, I am slowly but surely building my collection. I am also getting braver. Case in point, yesterday I wore purple lipstick to uni. Let me repeat that. I WORE PURPLE LIPSTICK TO UNI! Bold lips - sure, I do them all the time. I tend to stick to pinks, corals and reds. I have stayed away from purple. Until yesterday.

As part of my goody bag from the launch of the Theatre of the Nameless Collection, I received the new collection lipstick in Kontrol. I remember looking at it thinking "you would have to be very brave to wear this colour". Since then it has played on my mind. Am I not brave? Guess what insecurities, I wore purple lipstick. To uni.

Actually, now is where I become more honest. I put the lipstick on, freaked out, and dabbed some of it off. So it turned out to be more of a purple lip stain... Yes, I know, my insecurities won. I am however still super proud of myself for wearing purple of any description on my lips.

Illamasqua lipstick is amazing. Kontrol has a lovely creamy texture, which lasts for a very long time without smudging or wearing off. applied it at 8.30 am and it lasted til 2pm when I had lunch, a pretty good run! It is also highly pigmented (like all of their products), as Illamasqua is designed as theatre makeup.

Next on my Christmas list is their lipstick in Resist. Have you seen it? It's to die for!

It looks like nothing in this photo, but it was darker, I swear! Only a little but though.

The Batiste Comparison

That title makes me think of the title of a Big Bang Theory episode.

Anyways, this post is entirely based on the smell of some of the different Batiste Dry Shampoo variants, because in terms of formulation and performance they are all the same ie. bloody fantastic.

I have tried a few dry shampoo brands (I will not say I am a connoisseur, because in all honesty it is limited to about three) but I stopped at Batiste because their products smell delightful, make your hair look fresh, and help to texturize, allowing my to put my fine hair up in a bun without it all falling out. In case you haven't noticed, my hair is always in a bun, so dry shampoo is a bit necessary for me.

Now, on to the smell, and which one is my favourite:

Third Runner Up: Batiste Original - This one smells a little like Klorane Dry Shampoo. It is a little sterile, and doesn't really smell like much. I prefer my hair to smell nice, so that I can smell it all day. Weird, right?

Second Runner Up: Batiste Boho - I like the smell of this, it reminds me of music festivals. However, what goes hand in hand with music festivals? Weed. Yeah, this reminds me of that a little bit. Makes me feel like I belong in the 70's, which is what it was designed to do, I guess.

First Runner Up: Batiste Tropical - Delightful coconuty goodness. This one makes me think of holidays and summer. It was my number one choice for such a long time, however I find it a tad distracting, as when I wear it I tend to research tropical island holidays all day.

WINNER: Batiste Blush - floral love. My favourite perfumes are florals (Stella, MJ Daisy and Elizabeth Arden Pretty) therefore really it goes without reason that once tried, this would become my favourite. It is a very light, slightly powdery floral, but I love it.

The Ingredients are all the same, so I have only posted one picture

I noticed last time I was in Priceline there were a few more variations, so I might have to give them a go soon and see is Blush still holds the top spot!

In winning order

Lifebuoy hand wash = a fantastic fake tan remover...

I know that it sounds really odd. Why on earth would I be writing about a hand soap, of all things? One very simple reason, and that is because it gets rid of fake tan like nothing else. Honestly, it is amazing.

I love my Naked Tan Goddess Bronze, however unless you apply with gloves it leaves your hands green! A green base means that you get a lovely natural looking tan, however it also means that you turn your hands turn a delightful shade of green, followed by a very dark shade of brown. Obviously this is not ideal. Normal soap does not remove it, I have tried in vain, scrubbing my hands til they hurt.

Last time I applied my Goddess Bronze, I got annoyed and ended up going to the kitchen (who knows why) to wash my hands (where my Lifebuoy soap hides), and I was amazed when I saw that the foam turned green, and underneath it my hands became a normal colour again.

Seriously, it is worth having a pump bottle of this stuff SOMEWHERE in your household, for fake tanning emergencies.

Skin Juice Revival Face Scrub

This is part two in my reviews on the wonderful Australian company Skin Juice. I have been using this product again since I got my skin assessed in January, although not as religiously as I should.

What is it?

A granulated face scrub which contains fruit acids to both physically and chemically exfoliate your skin. This product is designed to be a scrub, however my Beauty Therapist told me to leave it on for 10 to 15 minutes twice a week as a mask, as the fruit acids are glycolics, which help to give you a stronger exfoliation. I use it as a mask twice a week but not as an exfoliant every night as well, because I think that might be too much trauma for my skin to handle.

Star Ingredients:

Black Vanilla Bean, Rice Bran and Fruit Acids (Glycolic Acid). Therefore helping to melt away the dead skin cells, as well as gently buffing them away.

Thoughts:

This is a fantastic mask (which is primarily how I use it). It pulls all of the underlying pimples and such out of your skin, and the next day my skin looks awful. However, that is a good thing, because to pull all of the gunk out and get rid of it is much better than letting it hide under my skin, in my opinion. Since using this product I have noticed that my skin is in much better condition, and also my skin also looks much more refined (that may be due to the Pulp Cleanser as well). You also get a a fantastic exfoliation, especially by gently wetting the product when you go to remove it, and rubbing your hands in circular motions.

I still have the old packaging of the product, which was a little metal tube, but looking at the website I can see that they have changed packaging now, which I am very grateful for! My tube has split a little on the side, and sometimes a little pool of product builds up around it.

I really love this product, and knowing that it is Skin Juice you also know that it contains heaps of active ingredients, so that the product will deliver what it claims. I know I sound like a spokeswoman for this company, but it is nice to have an organic product which delivers!

Skin Juice Revival Scrub is RRP $43.0 AUD. Purchase Online or Find a list of salon stockists at http://www.skinjuice.com.au/products/Revival_Facial_Scrub.aspx

I decided to add the stock photo, because there was no point in taking a picture of the old packaging! http://www.skinjuice.com.au/products/Revival_Facial_Scrub.aspx

Happy First Birthday to my Little Baby!

This day last year, I finally hit go on something which I had wanted to do for awhile. I logged on and created my blog!

My reasons behind blogging were that I was getting sick on constantly writing in a scientific manner at uni and I needed a creative outlet, plus I was obsessed with beauty products and needed a way to write and think about everything I was trying to learn. Tegania's Thoughts were born! Just so everyone knows, Tegania was my high school nickname from one of my really good friends. He was the only one who called me that, it never caught on, but I liked it (figures, I called my blog that name).

So, the very first post ever written on here was not that interesting (http://teganiasthoughts.blogspot.com/2010/10/first-thoughts.html):

the first thoughts...

hey there Internet!

I have been thinking about posting a blog for ages, however have never really gotten around to it... until now of course, smack in the middle of exam block. But hey, this gives me more chances to procrastinate and I can "pretend to be studying". Excellent.

So here goes, my thoughts on all things beauty, and all things beautiful.

xxxxxxxxxx

But, it was the start of my little love for my baby, and I therefore need to commend it haha. This is my 156th post on my blog, and I have loved each and every one.

Thank you to everyone who reads my blog, sends me lovely comments and tweets, and helps keep me blogging, I really appreciate all of you!

Happy Birthday little blog, I hope we are friends for a long time!

Face of Australia Purifying Cleansing Wipes

I ran out of my Dove Makeup Remover Wash last week. Even though I said in my post that I wasn't sure if I liked this product, in the end I LOVED it. It really removed all of my makeup and allowed my Skin Juice Pulp Cleanser to do its thing. In my cupboard I found the Face of Australia cleansing wipes which we received at the ABBW, and considering I remembered loving them during the masterclass, I figured I may as well get some use out of them.

I have been using them every night after work for a week and I am finding that I am really enjoying them. They seem to remove a heck of a lot of makeup off my face each night, even though it seems like my face has eaten it all during the day. They smell pleasant, and they don't leave my skin feeling dry. Win, win, win.

The one thing that I do not like about them is the sticky outside packaging (which reseals the wipes to prevent them drying out), because I keep coming home to find that it has opened up during the day. Easily fixed by storing them upside down, but slightly annoying never-the-less.

Although, I should probably store them upside down anyway as I read somewhere that this helps the cleansing product which pools at the bottom of the packet seep through all the wipes, preventing the top ones from being pretty useless. Fun fact of the day number one!

This was a gift from the Face of Australia Masterclass at ABBW. I am under no obligation to review these products, and I am being 100% honest.

Ummm, What?

Sebastian Professional Color Ignite Mono Shampoo and Conditioner = really cool. Not because it is an amazing product (I wouldn't know, I have used it once), it is because the conditioner is pressurized, and comes out like a mousse. It gave me a big shock when I went to use it in the shower this morning!

Now, I am not going to write a big review about how amazing this shampoo and conditioner is, because I am grossly under-qualified for that. I do not have coloured hair, so how would I review a shampoo for coloured hair? Plus, I have used it once. I am however going to state just a couple of points:

1. The shampoo and conditioner is designed for single toned coloured hair. Not highlights. Intriguing.

2. The conditioner is pressurized! It is so odd, but really awesome. The conditioner, even though it comes out as a foam, leaves your hair feeling really soft. It is odd, because it soaks in without leaving any residue, but still leaves your hair feeling moisturized which is very unexpected.

If you have coloured hair give it a go, its crazy interesting!

This product was part of a goody bag from ABBW. I am in no way obligated to review this product, and all thoughts are my own.

Skin Juice Pulp Cleansing Paste

I promised this review way back when, when I first went and got my skin assessed by my beauty therapist (I am talking round about January this year. Yeah, AGES ago).  Beauty Therapist told me that my skin was stressed out, really dry and therefore overcompensating with oil to try and rehydrate it. Which in turn meant that I had an overproduction of sebum. Which meant I had a heap of blocked pores and pimples.

Beauty Therapist gave me this routine, which I stuck to for about 2 weeks. Then I stopped using the tonic as a morning cleanser because it felt weird. I like to wash my face with something. I just changed it to my regular toner, and away we go - perfect skin routine for me.

The routine was as follows:

1. Quench Tonic in morning, as a toner at night (which has now been replaced by this, I think). This is because this is a more gentle way to cleanse your skin, and my skin was super stressed out.
2. Pulp Cleanser at night
3. Trilogy Eye Cream
3. Rosehip oil (I use the Akin brand)
5. citrus day cream (which is absolutely and utterly amazingly beautiful, I may have to do another post on this soon)

I have stuck with some of this routine, however I have also changed some of it up. I have tried out different cleansers (as makeup removers, not as my real cleansers) and different day time moisturizers (I prefer something with sunscreen) and eye creams. My skin is starting to act up again though, so I am going to have to go back to this prescription religiously.

Dear little rosehip oil has been my go to moisturizer since I got the program (because my skin didn't need any other products clogging it up,) and I have stuck with the Pulp Cleanser since I was given this program TEN MONTHS AGO. Every time I try something something new without the pulp cleanser, my skin chucks a spaz and I have to make an emergency trip to pick some more up.

Basically, this cleanser and my skin work in perfect harmony together. It really clears up my pimples, and calms my skin down. In easy to read, list form, reasons why I love this cleanser:

1.  It is a Australian White Clay based paste. I tried out a cleansing oil for a little while when I first was on this range, and I didn't really like that I had to wipe all the product off. So I asked to swap to this cleanser, because I can wash it off with water. I just feel cleaner when I use a cleanser with water. Plus, Clay helps with oily skin (like mine).

2. This cleanser contains fantastic actives such as White Willow, Wild Lime, Lactic Acid and Salicyclic acids. These help to reduce congestion in your skin.

3. The paste is very gently exfoliating. Not enough to set my skin off, just enough to make sure that my skin can breathe.

4. I really like that I can wash my face and it doesn't feel tight and sore after washing. The paste contains a few theraputic oils as well, which help to maintain moisture in my skin whilst gently cleansing (which my skin needs, because it is dry. Confusing much?).

The only thing that I don't like about this cleanser is that it doesn't remove makeup. A remedy easily fixed by using a make-up removing cleanser first.

Basically, my skin loves Skin Juice. Other reasons why I love this range:

1. It is a nutriceutical range which focuses on natural and organic products. I really prefer to put as many natural products on my skin (your skin is the biggest organ, after all), and my skin and scalp really act up with harsh detergents. This means that these products are perfect for me. According to Skin Juice they focus on "Green Actives", therefore you get products which really work, without subjecting your skin to too many chemicals.

2. This company is so green minded, that even the packaging is made from biodegradable material, which they encourage you to compost. This really appeals to the hippie in me. Plus, the company is Australian. This appeals to the patriot in me.

3. It works. That is all that really needs to be said.

Loreal True Match Blush In Sandalwood Pink

Let me start this post by saying that I didn't actually try this product. I gave it to one of my really good friends to try, and she loved it and told me all about it. So I got her to dictate her notes to me, so that I could write it all down for you.

My friend doesn't really wear makeup, ever, at all. She does however love this blush, and has been wearing it to work a fair bit since I gave it to her. In her words "I love it, and if someone who doesn't like makeup likes it, that's saying something!". Now, the reasons why she really likes it:

1. It is a really soft pink. Therefore, it doesn't add to the slight red undertones in her skin, it just adds a lovely pink flush.

2. It is very long lasting. Putting it on at 5am and it was gone at about 3pm, so it was lasting 10 hours. Amazing.

3. The powder is really soft. She said that picking it up on her brush is really easy, and the powder applies really easily, and feels lovely off.

Plus, when I swatched it on my wrist the colour pay off was pretty good for a soft pink blush. Plus, for around $25.95 it is a pretty good price.

Crown Stippling Brush C404 SM. Duo Face

I purchased this product at Sydney IMATs, as part of the ABBW (I still like the luckiest girl in the world for getting to go). I wanted a stippling brush because I didn't have one. That is the sole reason for my purchase. Since then, I have used this brush everyday. Useful purchase or what?

I tried this brush as my foundation brush first, and I really liked it. It takes a little bit longer than a normal foundation brush to apply your foundation, but you get the lovely airbrushed finish that everyone always talks about. I then did a brush reshuffle when started using my Royal and Langnickel brush wallet, and I could no longer fit the brush for my illuminator. My stippling brush became my new illuminator brush, and it is fantastic at both jobs.

A stippling brush contains two different types of bristles. The longer, white bristles are used for softly applying product, whereas the shorter, darker bristles are used to buff the makeup (what ever you choose to apply) into your skin. The basic action is to "stipple" - funnily enough - the brush against your skin.

My crown brush is quite small compared to some (MAC 187, for example), so it takes a bit longer to apply foundation. Therefore, a smaller one like this is probably better for illuminator work. The brush is also fantastic quality, I have gotten no shedding so far (I know it is only early days) even when washing the brush.

I really like this brush. You get such a lovely effect with a stippling brush, with no stripes in your makeup at all. I would really recommend giving one a go.

Akin Ginkgo and Chamomile Revitalising Eye Night Cream

I was intrigued by this when I saw the little blurb on the back "Nurturing, rapidly absorbed, unscented eye creme helps revitalise the fragile eye area to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Your eyes appear fresher and more youthful".

Fine Lines: Tick. Revitalise: Tick. Fresher: I'm sold.

This eye cream is delightful. I have been using it for a few weeks and I have really found that it rehydrates my tired looking eye area. I am starting to get a few fine lines which are exacerbated when my skin is dehydrated, and this helps to plump my eye area, ready for the next day.

It is definitely unscented, therefore suitable for those of us who are sensitive, and is as pure and good as everything by the Purist company is. I really love their products, and I have been using their rosehip oil for years.

Finally, it contains Ginko (blitzes those under eye bags) and Chamomile (for calming) as the star ingredients, plus Vitamin E, Vipers Bugloss Oil (which contains Omega 3, 6 and 9, as well as Alpha Lipoic Acid, which are moisturisers), and Pro Vitamin B5 (hydration).

Plus, it does soak in immediately. This cream is so light that it is almost a gel (as you can see by the bottom picture), and therefore it just blends straight into your skin.

Review: Australis Paparazzi Perfect High Definition Tinted Moisturizer

Sorry to start Monday off on a bad note, but I am a bit sad. I really like Australis stuff (as you can see by the amount of glowing reviews it has received from me) and I was so excited to try this tinted moisturizer because I was so sure that it would be the same. Sorry Australis, but you let me down.

The reason? This tinted moisturizer turns orange on me. Not tanned orange, pumpkin orange. Now I know that I am super pale, and this might be perfect for those of you out there who aren't as pale as me, but for me it just doesn't work. In fact, I gave it to my best friend to try, who has an Asian complexion, and it is the perfect colour. Sad for me though, because the skin perfecting claims are true, but I can't wear something that turns me orange.

Australis claims that this tinted moisturizer gives you a "flawless, smooth finish in any light", and "light reflecting to blur skin imperfections. True, my skin looked lovely and smooth, even though I have terrible pores.
The moisturizer also feels wonderful. It soaks right in to your skin and feels lovely and light. When I first put it on I was impressed, until I looked into the mirror and had to take it off. Therefore I haven't tested the longevity of this product.

However the claim that it is "colour balancing to always suit complexion". I don't know about that, last time I checked I was "sheet of paper" white, not orange.

So sad. Don't discount it if you have a darker skin colour, because it might be perfect for you. Just not for "I am the colour of a vampire" me.
