June Empties

So, I have had huge amounts of empties in the past. 17 products empty hasn't been unheard of. Well, this month is slack. I have to start using up more stuff. Thankfully I didn't start a project 50 pan, or I would have lost hope this month and started buying up anything possible in all stores! I have a complex like that...

Thankfully, I use my empties posts as a way to account for all the things I use up, as it helps me to use up more products if I know I can write about them at the end of the month. Do you write empties posts? Gotta love them, right? They are usually so honest.

So, over the month of June, I emptied such wonderful items as:

Invisible Zinc Silk Shield Foundation: I love this foundation. It is so damn perfect for summer being water resistant, SPF 30+ and looking like a zinc stick so the boyfriend doesn't think I am wearing makeup to the beach. I will definitely repurchase come winter.

Pearl Drops Extra Whitening Everyday Toothpaste: Best whitening toothpaste I have found, out of all I have tried. I have already repurchased.

Revlon Colourstay Eyebrow Liner in Blonde: I have to admit I like gel pencils/eyebrow crayons best for my eyebrows and this one worked a treat. Plus, not a red tinge in sight. The only problem is that Revlon has such a huge markup in Aus, I bought mine on sale for $9 down from $22. Hurrah! So, I would only repurchase if it was on sale.

Nivea Daily Essentials 3 in 1 Waterproof Makeup Remover: This does an okay job, but it doesn't remove all traces of makeup. I bought three in a Coles "buy two get one free" sale, so I have two more to use up. I like it, I just don't love it. Although I would probably repurchase if it was on sale again, as I use my Clarisonic after anyways to ensure I get all scerics of makeup.

Nivea Q10 Plus Anti-wrinkle Night Cream: This product is not for me, it caused some serious congestion. Plus, I find it sits on the top of your skin without soaking in, which is less than ideal. Most likely better for a mature skin. I ended up using it up on my super dry legs - they appreciated it!

Batiste Dry Shampoo in Tropical: This is my second favourite Batiste scent after Blush, however this is the only Batiste the Coles near me stocks. I have already repurchased, because I need to be carted off to the Dry Shampoo Addiction Clinic.

Over to you - what did you empty over the month of June? Any wonderful product recommendations for me? xx

  4. I've only finished a few products in the month of June - dry shampoo being one of them. I was really faithful to my 'Tropical' Batiste dry shampoo but they have a new scent out now called 'Fresh' (I think it's called). It's a good change :D xx
