August Favourites

August is one of my favourite months (after April and May). It is my birthday month, it starts to warm up in Australia, and we usually get through the month with bright, clear winter skies (my favourite type of sky) yet the night times still have a bit of a cold bite to them. Scarves and tights can be worn for warmness, yet dresses can be once again worn for leg freedom. Late August in Queensland means bare arms and legs and beautiful temperatures. All in all, beautiful.

So, what else was making my August so happy? Luckily, some items were happy to pose for a photo so I could show you.

Alphabet Weekends - Elizabeth Noble: A sweet chick-lit book. When I get busy/stressed I love to read chick-lit books; cute, romantic and don't require a lot of deep thinking. My brain is being used else where! This book was adorable but also very more-ish, I devoured it pretty quickly!

Mink Pink Paparazzi Sunnies: I bought these as a birthday present to myself and I love them! Kinda cats eye, kinda oversized, super cool.

Moore Bee-J Products Udder Cream: This has been an absolute winter god send! Based on all natural ingredients, this cream is perfect for dry skin, plus contains calendula and tea tree for healing. I have been using it post wax, on angry pimples, on dry skin patches... all with fabulous results. I bought it from a teeny little shop at Moore.

Jurlique Rose Hand Cream: I have already talked about how awesome this is. It is grand.

Sukin Hydrating Body Lotion: A long time lover of mine, I really cannot find a better body lotion. Organic AND doesn't leave my skin feeling greasy (which is something I cannot stand in my body lotion) this helped heal my itchy winter skin and prevented it's return.

Kit Cosmetics Lipsticks in Fire Lighter and Freedom Fighter: I had a bit of a coral revival over August, and my normal reds were replaced with orange-pink goodness. I wonder which way I will head in spring?

What have you been loving over the last little while? Anything so good it must be bought immediately? xx
