DIY Heart Ballet Flats

Kmart is currently discounting all of their already cheap flats, and that was the perfect opportunity for me to grab a pair to have a play with after I bought some fabric paint on ebay and it came in the mail! I decided on a really easy design (as I am no artist); a simple heart.

This DIY was very simple and took about 10 minutes. Using a pencil or an invisible crafters pencil draw a heart shape onto the front of your shoes. Fill in carefully with the fabric paint and a paint brush, and allow to dry. If you were worried about your hearts being exactly the same you could easily use a stamp and fill over it with a paintbrush. That's it!

I wish I could remove the bows on these flats, but my unpicker is back in Brisbane. Once that bow is gone I can see myself wearing these a lot!

Happy Monday everyone! xx

  2. Totally cute! I love them! To be honest, I'd wear them as they are.. and then paint on them when they get scuffy, but I'd be scared of ruining them. I love shoes but my feet don't!
